Terms of Use

HubChess is a free online platform for over-the-board chess tournament management. We provide tournament creation, public registration, automatic Swiss pairings, result entry, Elo rating computation, public showcases and player profiles.

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

You are responsible for keeping accurate information on your profile — real name, valid email, correct data.

You are responsible for password security. Do not share credentials.

Each person may have only one account. Duplicate accounts will be removed.

You agree NOT to: register false data or impersonate others, create accounts in bulk, use the platform for illegal purposes, upload offensive or copyrighted images, try to manipulate the pairing or rating system, scrape data in bulk without permission.

Violation results in suspension or deletion of the account.

When you upload a banner or awards photo, you confirm you have rights to the image and grant HubChess a non-exclusive, free license to display that content on the tournament's public pages.

You can remove any uploaded content at any time from the dashboard.

Tournament results, standings, player profiles and ratings are public by nature. That's part of the service — clubs, schools and players need this transparency.

If you do not agree, do not register the data.

HubChess is 100% free for all current features. No subscription, no entry fee.

In the future, we may introduce optional premium features. Everything that exists today will remain free.

HubChess provides the platform "as is". We are not liable for: temporary unavailability, data loss caused by user error, refereeing decisions or disputes between players and organizers, indirect damages resulting from use of the platform.

The tournament organizer is legally responsible for the competition they create. HubChess only provides the tool.

You may close your account at any time by emailing softiahouse@gmail.com.

We may close accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

We may update these Terms. Material changes are communicated by email at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change means acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Venue: city of Florianópolis/SC.
