We are not an official chess federation. We are a technology platform that helps clubs, schools and organizers manage tournaments, players, and ratings.

When you create an account: full name, email, profile picture (if you sign in with Google), date of birth (optional), gender (optional), city, country, linked club (optional), bio (optional).

When you join tournaments, we generate and store: FC ID (unique identifier), Elo rating, tournament history, match results, final standings, trophies and photos uploaded by the organizer.

When you visit the site we automatically log: IP address, browser type, pages accessed, and timestamps, for security and aggregate analytics.

To provide the service — pair you in tournaments, compute ratings, display standings.

To publish results publicly — once a tournament ends, your participation, position and photo (if any) become visible on the tournament's public showcase and your public profile.

For communications — confirmation emails, password resets, tournament notifications.

To improve the platform — aggregate usage analytics, no individual tracking.

We never sell your data.

We share data only with essential providers: Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting), and Google (social login, if you opt in). These services have confidentiality agreements and comply with GDPR/LGPD.

Public profile data (name, FC ID, rating, tournament history) is accessible on the public internet. That's a core part of the service.

You can at any time: access your data, correct it, request deletion of your account, export your data in machine-readable format (JSON), withdraw consents.

To exercise any of these, email softiahouse@gmail.com with the subject "GDPR - [your request]". We respond within 15 business days.

We use only essential cookies to maintain your login session. No advertising tracking cookies.

Sub-X categories accept players under 18. If you're under 13, please ask a guardian to create the account on your behalf.

Parents or guardians may request data deletion at any time at softiahouse@gmail.com.

Database hosted on Supabase, São Paulo region (sa-east-1). Site hosting on Vercel (United States). Uploaded images (banner, awards photo) on Supabase Storage.

When we update this policy, we change the "last updated" date at the top. Significant changes are emailed to active users.
